PROTOCOL FOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
ELECTRONIC BULLETIN BOARD
Purpose:
The
Community Development Program Bulletin Board will provide an opportunity for
all Sector Advisory Committee members to have input into funding
applications. While this is an advisory
process and not a decision making process, all input will be gathered by the
Community Liaisons and taken into consideration before a final decision is
made.
The
following is an outline of how the process will work:
- Every member of all CBT
advisory committees will be given access to the site and a personal
password.
- Every proposal received through
the Community Development Program will be posted on the site and members
will be given the opportunity to comment on the proposals.
- Each proposal will be posted on
the site for two weeks.
- Postings will be done every
Friday so members may check the site on Mondays to see if anything new has
been posted.
- Nancy Boucher will be
responsible for posting the proposals on the site.
- The Community Liaisons will be
responsible for gathering the input from the site and providing it to the
decision making body – either Delivery of Benefits Committee, Liaisons or
CBT Board of Directors.
- Results will be posted on the
site after a decision has been made.
- Participants are asked to make
their comments as succinct as possible and, in the case of larger
projects, consideration should be given to discussing the project as a
Committee and posting a group response.
- Proponents will be notified
that applications will be made available for discussion on the site,
however, all Committee members will treat this information as confidential
and application information will not be shared with the public unless the
CBT has received a request under the Freedom of Information Act.
