CBT is committed to working in collaboration and partnership with businesses and organizations in the Basin to actively foster a diverse, resilient and energized economy for our region.
CBT aims to build on the assets of Basin organizations and deliver programs and initiatives in partnership with those that have similar economic goals and interests.
CBT's Economic Initiatives Strategic Plan for 2010-2012 focuses on the economy of tomorrow, but is also responsive to the changing economic landscape of today. In creating this plan, CBT sought input from a variety of sources, including conversations with Basin residents and information from previous research of the economic issues and challenges in the region.
Other areas of CBT also support proactive economic activities and integrate economic considerations as well, such as the Community Development Program, Community Initiatives and Affected Areas Programs, as well as CBT’s Investment Program.
